Hello, my name is Rosie, and I waste my life, lol. I am a nihilistic cynic filled with romantic idealism, and my dream is to work as a starving etymologist, anthropologist or marine biologist in New York/Iceland/Russia/some other wonderfully desolate place. Schools: Wonderful Fort Street High > alternative world of Bradfield College > the perfectly normal "Thomas Walker" High, and I'm going back to Bradfield at the end of this year. Here are over 9000 things I like! I'm awfully immature, hypocritical, pretentious, and characterised by or given to ostentation; experts have proved this with scientific research. I also have this annoying habit of talking about my annoying habits. I am far too public for my own good! I might not know a lot about politics, but I am really far more lucid than I seem! I'm just cute, dammit. My journal is composed of: 6 parts self-deprecating humour, 1 part whiny spoiled white teen, 2 parts awesome pictures, 1 part freakin' terrifying pictures, 1 part good music taste, 1 part incredibly tacky music taste, and 4 parts good old fashioned unconditional love. It is often very image-heavy, and tends towards the absurd or disturbing. I post huge amounts of images (and quotes!), so I credit poorly and infrequently, but I've been trying to reference more, and if you see your work or the work of a friend or admired artist, comment the image url and a name and I'll change or remove it without delay.
